Accommodation
The organizing committee makes every effort to recommend hotels to participants that offer high quality at a reasonable budget. For this reason, we are trying to offer contingents of hotel rooms in Vienna at selected hotels for all participants for the period from July 28 to August 2. It is also important to us that all participants are accommodated within a short distance of the event venue. A ticket for public transportation is included in the registration so that you can commute comfortably from your accommodation to the Gusshaus.
Below you will find a recommendation of hotels of the event service of the Vienna University of Technology. Currently, we are in contact with selected hotels to provide you with rooms at special rates. Please check this page regularly for updates.
We also recommend checking on-line booking systems, such as HRS, booking.com or others, and hotel web sites directly. These may offer day-to-day rates, which may be lower when booked early in advance or at special conditions of payment. But these offers may be very limited and not guaranteed; please be aware that some of these offers may not include breakfast, or may include a non-refundable deposit.
It is the responsibility of the participant to arrange, reserve, and pay for their accommodation/hotel. Each participant must manage the cancellation policies and terms of conditions of their chosen hotel, as these may vary between each hotel.
